Find Me a Gift is online gifts eCommerce website, selling a range of seasonal, personalised and unique gifts.
Google announced that the release of Chrome 62 in Oct 2017 would label HTTP sites as ‘Not secure’ if a user clicked into a text-input field. This represented a huge problem for Find Me a Gift, as many of their
products feature personalisation text-input fields and the update would significantly reduce trust in FMAG during their busiest trading period.
Pi supported Find Me a Gift in migrating to HTTPs, using daily data to monitor and preserve organic visibility over the Christmas trading period.
Find Me a Gift's site migrated seamlessly. In many cases, pages achieved higher position in the SERPS. Pi Datametrics was crucial in allowing FMAG to measure KPIs post-migration, and assess granular performance across subcategories post-migration. As a result, FMAG achieved 80%+ YoY organic traffic uplift and migrated 6,000+ pages successfully.
The migration was a resounding success with nearly no drops in visibility. In many cases, we achieved higher positions in the SERPS. Pi was crucial in measuring KPIs post-migration. Will King SEO Manager
